What good would it do if we just gave everything up now? Does it really make things easier? Seem easier, yes. But actually easier? Why does it feel as though we are going through the motion everyday? We wake up, we take our meals, we get through work, we sleep... Nothing changes, nothing that breaks away from the norm. What if we are too accustomed to this routine to the extent that we are afraid of change? Cringing as soon as something out of the blue crops up, unwilling to experiment with new ideas and fresh schools of thought, not daring to move out of this safe shell we call 'home'. It's an irony to think that change is the only constant in most circumstances. What happens if we choose to adhere this norm? Even in the face of choice, why do we opt to stick with what we have been following all this while just because it's been tried, tested and guarantee-stamped that it will work out? We are afraid. All of us will be. But I'm afraid that this fear of plucking my courage and sticking my head out will consume me.
