Eeeeps, it has been more than 2 weeks since I last blogged! Time to resume my blogging mania.................alright, and now, to business. Today looked like it was going to be a fully outdoor life again. Guess what me and 3 other long-lost friends did when we met up at Tampines Mall? MOVIE! Yep, we went to watch 'The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe' . I watched the advertisements on TV and found the film pretty interesting, therefore I obliged when my classmates asked me to watch the movie with them. Very good film, I must say, though I wished I was the archer in the film. Haha. Yeah, that was around 2.45pm when the show ended, and I disbanded from my classmates to meet up the 'The Terrorist' . Roamed Tampines Mall and Century Square AGAIN before going to McDonald's for another meeting with someone else. This time, it wasn't anyone I knew. It was someone named Yuan He, a brother of an Alvin I knew. Alvin was an organiser for the Christmas Carnival on 24 December 2005 at City Harvest Church (Near Singapore Expo) , in which I attended in high spirits. If you were there, you would know what I mean when I say that the place is totally RADICAL!! Totally revolutionising, me and several others enjoyed life to the fullest possible extent. Oh, coming back to the topic. Since I attended this carnival, Alvin extended an invitation to me and 'The Terrorist' to come over to East Coast Park for a series of fun-filled events such as games and telematches. Took a bus 31 to the bus stop outside Victoria School and started walking into East Coast Park when it started RAINING! Gosh. Yuan He received news that the event was going to shift into a condominum called Costa Del Sol. Bad luck. Took a bus in the opposite direction to the bus stop outside Temasek Junior College and waited under the shelter for the rain to simmer before continuing on foot for around 20 minutes. And, at last, at long last, the condominium loomed in front of us. Phew. One question: who in their right mind would organise an event in such a secluded, hard-to-find place?? Entered the condominum into the clubhouse and found Alvin there! Chatted for a while before a Pastor(someone like a priest, I don't really know) entered and started telling us about salvation and things related to Jesus Christ. Yup. Learned quite a lot from him. It was 6.30pm when me and 'The Terrorist' hailed a cab to get us where we want to go. I needed to get back to Victoria School as I am meeting a couple of people there for a farewell barbecue with a friend whose father has been posted to Malysia for work, while 'The Terrorist' headed back home. Got into that friend's house and put down my bag (his name is Amir). Headed to the barbecue pit to see a few people there already. Put down the charcoal in the pit and lighted the fireand started putting chicken wings on the wire mesh. Not long before the rest of the people Amir invited turned up. Played a couple of card games and raised our heads to look at the barbecue pit to see that the chicken wings were burnt. What the heck.................Received a phone call from my mother telling me that she and my father were going to fetch me from where I am at 10pm. I looked at my watch. 9.30pm. ANOTHER PIECE OF REALLY BAD NEWS!! Got up to Amir's house and played a couple of Playstaion 2 games and picking up my bag before saying a final goodbye to this good friend of mine. Wished I could have stayed longer, but what can I say?

An unexpected NPCC training devoured my entire morning, which would have been devoted online gaming and walking around in the house. Prepared my full uniform and set out in my father's car to school. Started polishing my beloved boots when I reached there. The rest of the squad turned up fairly quickly, and before you knew it, 7.45am rung. Seniors' instructions were to change to full uniform and get ready for a full-scale formal parade at our school's parade square. Pretty nice, and the school cleaner even came up to look and said that what we did in the parade was very good. Then came a Safety First badge test. The teacher-in-charge droned on and on and on about road safety, various hand signals, and so on. The written test began after 30 minutes. Fared well, 19 marks out of a possible 20. Then came drill training yet again. Seriously tired out of these stuff. And FINALLY, dismissal. Went to the canteen and found out that the only stall open had only bee hoon left. Disliking it, I bought some nuggets and a couple of cans of drink as lunch. Played a little soccer after that and set off for home. Coming home with a disgruntled face, as my name tag on my full uniform suddenly fell off during training as the pin broke. Needed to repair it as soon as possible. Bathed and went into my room to pack up before coming here to blog. Well, got to go now. Got a personal appointment with my computer. Golly gee.

There are 2 words to wholly describe today: IT SUCKED. Totally boring, even the Aedes mosquitoes didn't come to my house to spread dengue fever. Some mental crackdown and I was howling away in my room like some enraged wild beast before finally coming out and playing with my pet quail, which pooped on me AGAIN. Damn it, and I got to throw that shirt into the washing machine along with others, and my mother was absolutely unhappy with it, no doubt. Spent the whole bloody day cooped up in the four corners of my house walking around and watching television. If my days carry on being like this, I might just consider forgoing blogging.....................

Howdy yet again. Today wasn't really that bad. The good thing was, I didn't feel the slightest bit of boredom at all. Bad thing was, my 90-year-old grandmother was coming to stay for a night at my house. This meant that I have to sacrifice my bedroom for one night. One night = 8 hours = 480 minutes = 28800 seconds!! Sigh................went to Bishan where my grandmother lived on my brother's car and fetched her down. She is a bit hard of hearing, therefore it isn't surprising that my mother nearly shouted at her, which in fact was normal conversation. Haha. Came back at 11.30am. My brother ate lunch and got out of the house to do work, leaving the computer table open. Heh heh heh...............GAME ON, DUDES!!!!!!!! Played and played and played till my mother came hollering again. Walked to the balcony and took out my NPCC boots for polishing. My grandmother became really interested in what I was doing and came over and sat beside me, asking me loads of questions. Answered all of them in a weary tone. Got out of the house to NTUC to buy stuff for tonight's dinner and for the rest of the days to come. Haha. Well, got to go help my mother to prepare dinner. Catch you later.

Call this an eventful day and watch your face when I bash you up. IT IS NOT!! How boring..........Wake up at the bloody same time everyday and going through the same stuff just makes me sick. The computer is on even before I switched on the switch, therefore someone switched it on before I woke up. Undoubtedly, my sister. Electricity-waster, she is. Played and played and played until my mother came hollering. Ate lunch and spent almost the whole afternoon reading. Surprised, because I haven't been a good boy for a long, long time. In the blink of an eye, nightfall came. My father came into the kitchen and started cooking. Wow. And his specialty in cooking is 'yong tau foo'................the food was still edible, though it would taste much better if cooked by my mother. Seriously speaking, life is tough nowadays. Got to hang on there once a while.

Today is eventful. Ate a piece of bread and off to Victoria Junior College I go to collect new books for next year. Expected a thick wad of reference book, textbooks, and so on. Never did I imagine that the books listed on the booklist are actually story books. Laughing my head off on the way back home on my father's car, and began to read a book called "The Number Devil". Useful in mathematics, it talks about stuff like square roots and imaginative numbers and repeating decimals and so on. Slammed everything I got from Victoria Junior College on my study desk and moving off to eat lunch we bought home. My mother nagged and nagged at me to read the books we bought, as we didn't buy them to put them on display. So I continued to read "The Number Devil" and the first chapter of "His Dark Materials Trilogy: The Golden Compass". Pretty interesting, because I don't know what in the world is a 'daemon' as described in the book. Parents went out again the afternoon, leaving me free to pursue what I want to do as long as I like. But, with my brother and sister surrounding me, I can't. Damn. So I just played computer games and watched television and nothing more than that. Man, these days are becoming real unhealthy. Eating out for lunch and dinner, not exercising, staring long hours at close-range computer and television screens.............................I got to do something about this.

Saturday, December 03, 2005 || 2:11 PM

Sigh............there is no other boring day just like this one, and today turned out to be what I expected: BORING. Yeah, no exceptional events happening, unless you count my pet quail pooping on my shorts this morning before I switched on the computer on an exceptional event. Played computer games just like any other 14-year-old would, and eating lunch bought from downstairs just like any human do. Kind of feeling under the weather, so I actually took a nap. Woah, haven't done that in months. Well, this might be the day where I create history under the roof of my house, napping finally after a few months of doing so. Woke up at 7pm. Wow, that's even more historical. Dinner's ready. Sat down and ate like some mad dog which haven't eaten for years and sitting down in front of the television and staring at the screen, where it displayed some show I didn't know about, because I didn't read the newspapers, which meant that I didn't read the TV guide, which meant that I didn't know what the name of the show is. Sigh, how boring.............

Friday, December 02, 2005 || 1:54 PM

Couldn't sleep much with all the things whirling in my head, so I woke up at 8.30pm, which was real early. Planned an outing later, therefore getting up early wasn't a problem. Before I was going to get out of the house, there came a stray cat right up to my doorstep, and there stood my mother, back from the market. She explained that the cat followed her all the way to the doorstep due to the meat she was holding in a plastic bag. The cat was attracted to the smell of it, and therefore, voila. I tried to get the cat away from our house by luring it 1 floor down with a bit of milk and leaving it there, and moving off to Tampines Mall at 10am, to meet up with my friends. Arranged to meet at Tampines Mall's McDonald's at 10.15am, and I was 2nd to arrive. Didn't have to wait long for the rest to turn up. We then went to get a couple of snacks at NTUC before going in the cinema. Before going in, one of my friends and I played a joke on the rest by telling them that we didn't have the tickets ( the tickets were by my friend earlier on at 9.20am ) . All of us laughed except one guy ( Timothy, who else? ) . The movie was, you guessed it, 'Chicken Little'!! Totally hilarious, and I don't know why people say the plot sucked. Well, not too late to change your mind if you are thinking along the same lines too. Lunch next. Another friend, Daniel, complained of not having money to eat at fast food restaurants, and that KFC's value meals were not filling enough, though they were cheap, and appealed to us that we eat at the food court. We split up. 3 of us to KFC, the other 2 to the food court. Next, the most exciting part of the day lingers.................BOWLING! Missed it so much, because I haven't played for quite some time. Organised some sort of competition, with me and 'The Terrorist' against the rest. Obviously we lost. 2 on 3, how fair was it? Even with a 50 point handicap, that had no effect. yeah, then we went to' The Terrorist's' house to rest before going to play basketball and soccer till 6.15pm, when I went home to eat dinner. Can this get any better?

Thursday, December 01, 2005 || 12:51 PM

Enjoyed a deep sleep last night, awakened at 9.45am. Nothing on my mind, so I switched the computer and just whirled sround websites and gamesites. Seriously bored to the core. And my mother came and told me that my pet quail's supply of beancurd was running out, and that I was to go to the market and get some along with our lunch. So there I went, walking and grumbling, to buy all of our lunch. Nothing to do anyway, so I just did it, or I would have said no. Bought char siew rice for myself, which was good. Then i read a couple of comics before a telephone call came, from Kang Ming (a.k.a. The Terrorist, sorry senior Laura, you might not know who he is) . Motive of the call, to play basketball. Obviously I needed to do something constructive or my mother would holler at me, so I agreed. Needed to go and buy stuff with my mother at NTUC before basketball, and I reached at 4.30pm. Played a couple of games there. Seriously speaking, my skill is starting to waver slightly. Got tired of it and went up to 'The Terrorist's' house to rest and play GameBoy Advance SP. You might think it's childish. And yeah. Now at home, finished my dinner, watered with some tea, and waiting for tomorrow to come. Yeah.
