Today. A day of total outdoor activity. Woke up at 7am for preparation to the Citibank-YMCA Youth For Causes presentation ceremony later that morning. Tried as hard as I could not to wake my parents up, but failed. My father woke up and offered to drive me to Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road), where the presentation was held, but I turned it down. It was a Saturday, and I didn't want to my father to get involved in such simple matters. Set off for the school at 7.45am and reached at 8.25am. It was still early, as registration starts only at 9.15am, so we hung out around before going in. Took our seats and listened to the MCs talk and the awards being given away. Pretty boring, as my team didn't win anything. We broke off at 11.30am, and headed to the canteen for refreshments. Didn't eat anything, as I was going out for a proper lunch later. Got a free cab ride from Miss Felicia Yeo, the teacher who was there at the ceremony too, to Bendemeer, where I seperated from her and took a bus. Real long journey. Yeah. And I FINALLY reached home. An apparent 15 minutes break in the house before setting off again, this time for a fun cause. Arrived at the 'The Terrorist's house and talked a little bit before going off again. Didn't know where to eat, so we just drew lots and picked KFC. Ate a Shrooms Burger Meal. Moved off and amused ourselves a little before going off to to watch the most anticipated movie of the year-----Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire!!!!! The cinema was actually SO packed, even the queue for popcorn and drinks was real long. Got into the cinema. I and Wei En wanted to get in early so that we could see the Chicken Little movie trailer, which featured the hit song, 'Dragostea Din Tei'. Don't know about it? Remember Guo Mei Mei's 'Ma-Yi-Ya-Hi, Ma-Yi-Ya-Hoo'?? Yeah, that's it. thought it wasn't going to show, until right before the movie actually started, and both Wei En and I nearly wet our pants being overly excited. Spilled some Coca Cola over my trousers when I unscrewed the bottle cap, and I didn't know why. Excess of carbon dioxide, I suppose. Well, about the movie................IT WAS A TOTAL LETDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Half of what was written in the book wasn't even shown in the movie!!!!!! I mean, take for example------Harry Potter was supposed to be in the hospital wing after the Triwizard Tournament, and Cornelius Fudge was supposed to give him one thousand Galleons prize money, which in turn was given to Fred and George Weasley by Harry to open a joke shop...........BUT IT DIDN"T HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! There was supposed to be a Part 1 and 2, but the producers thought it was a waste of time and money, so they didn't do it. Sigh..............what a waste of $9.50. Ate dinner with my friends after that and hung around just a little while more before coming back home to post this post. Catch you all later.
