Today might perhaps be one of the normal days in my life. Woke up at 7am this morning to get ready for the VIP Symposium 2 hours later. My mother was taking real long to get ready, so we got there by taxi. In the Symposium, we were supposed to go and listen to a speech made by the CEO of The Esplanade, Mr Benson Phua. Quite a jovial man, he told the audience about his former days when he was like our age and tips on how to get along with life better. Then we had a small break and were served some light refreshments. I ate around 9 sandwiches (without anyone noticing) and later attended some presentations made by the present VIP students about the subjects they were taking. I attended Chemistry, which talked about hair rebonding, and Biology, which featured Japan's preferred alcoholic beverage, sake. After the talks, my mother and I waited at the concourse for my father to fetch us, and we had an argument about whether to buy this thing called a graphic calculator, which costed $184.........$184 ??!! I am now starting to regret getting into IP, with the various opportunities it offered, I can't back down now. Went home after that and decided to watch Flightplan. It was damn cold in there, maybe because i drank a tad too much Vanilla Coke in there. Good show though, with this guy impersonating as a policeman but in fact the one who kidnapped the main actress' daughter. Some racism featured in the film though. But right now, computer games, anyone?
